i used my recovery disk a couple of days ago. after finishing running recovery,and every thing was set up.i noticed nothing would run in auto run.i can run things in manual.
if any one can tell me how to switch auto run back on my PC i would be very grateful.
i have windows xp.

Open My Computer
Right-click on the drive icon for your CD drive, CD recorder, or DVD drive, and select Properties.
Choose the AutoPlay tab, and choose the desired action for each type of CD.
If that doesn't work, we can do it in registry editor.

OK,
Click Start
Run
Type in regedit and click enter or OK
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom.
Highlight CDrom and then in the Right pane
Double-click the Autorun value, and type 1 for its value.
(If Autorun is not there, create it by selecting Edit -> New -> DWORD Value, and typing "Autorun" for its name.)
You may have to log out and then log back in for this change to take effect.
