The great threat of spam has always been that it will make Internet e-mail unusable. This week it's hard not to feel that we might have reached that point.

Certainly one major reason for pessimism is the ferocity of the MyDoom virus attack and the legion of spammer-controlled zombie systems it represents. In some ways, though, I think that an even more ominous spam assault read the rest here
