anyone know if a site exist to check your OS to be sure we (I) haven't deleted anything critical to the OS? |

Maybe this wont help u much... but there is some command that can check that for u.
I assume that you're using XP right?

Not sure it will help, but try:
http://www.pcpitstop.com/
There's a program built into Windows to report installed updates.
In Win98/ME, go to Start - Run and type: qfecheck .
With Win2000/XP, go to Start - Run and type CMD then at the command line, type the same, qfecheck.

No, I'm still stuck in 98 here at work, trying despiratly to convince them to change over. After the last CWS,About trouble and 4 day's of digging maybe they will listen...lol
