Hello all,

It seems like there are some serious issues with the latest bunch of updates and patches. I know several people who have had the most recent updates give them the shlwapi.dll log in error. That is some bad stuff to be sure...

On my own personal system I had the overwhelming joy of having the new updates KILL my SP2 update! On the major plus side though, it didn't kill anything else. I believe that SS&D must have stopped the update from finishing it's lethal work on my system...

BTW Microsoft support says that the update isn't at fault, it is caused by a virus or some 3rd party program... or maybe it was the evil alien slugs that shoot update corruption rays at all Microsoft products... I'm more liekly to by the last one myself... Buck passers are lame!

I should get a t-shirt that says "My system survived the latest Microsoft Update Patch"
