puzzled - there's nothing in my XP admin tools folder?!!

i'm no newbie. not that there' s anything wrong with that. but today, just for kicks, i decided to fiddle with my admin tools folder in control panel (running xp pro sp 2)... and... Nothing!!

it's empty.

where did they all go?

anyone have this wierd issue?

i can always do a sys overhaul, but this has got me stumped.
