My compliments to Suzi and those who moderate and help her.
You have created a wonderfull forum here. The board has good clean look to it. It has something of a relaxed atmosphere (something the other forums lack) along with very usefull information....... the above mentioned combinations may have something to do with a woman's touch?
I will reccomend this forum to those who have an interest in having and maintaning security on their computers.
I live in Northern Ontario where the winters can get a little on the long side so I have been spending way to much time on the puter.
I had a computer and internet access years ago. I had bought a computer in Dec 2003 and have been amazed at the changes in the internet. Somehow, from the begining of going on to the internet I latched on to the idea of securing my computer (luckly my computer came with firewall and virus protection installed). I have been spending most of my puter time researching security. I am a newbie..... but I am catching on fast.
Well good luck with the forum and so far a job well done! _________________ It's all star dust |

Hi Cruzin and welcome! And thank you for the kind words. Please jump in and enjoy yourself here.
Unfortunately the internet is not such a friendly place sometimes. There's a lot of thieves and bandits out there. We are trying to do our part to stamp out some of their evil. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

Thanks for the welcome all.
I try to do my bit too for the internet, but some people think I am paranoid, don't want to know, or they think it will never happen to them.
A couple of people have let me install a firewall and some anti-critter software on their computer, so all is not wasted.
I quess u lived in Wawa hey dave.
I use to live in N.B. , would move back in a minute if there were some jobs out there.
thanks again _________________ It's all star dust |
