OK, I'm not sure where you read SpySweeper is not a good app to have, but I doubt it was here. At least I have not read any real negative complaints about it. I have had mine for over a year now, and no complaints, it plays nice with everything else. See my link below for whats installed on my pc.
And I'm glad to see they are giving the latest version for frre trial now, for a while you usually got the previous version.
Try and go to task manager, and kill whats there for SpySweeper, 3.2 has a resident regisrty monitor, and a favs monitor lock too. In my task manger its SpySweeper.exe.
Then try and uninstall it again.
Hope that helps some. _________________

Hello Temerc & all,
Thank you for your comment's, If you & other's on here say spysweeper is ok then i have no reason to take it off, I think i may have misunderstood the post (It was very late when i read it), Ok so my only question now is,
Is it normal that my spysweeper wont remove in remove program's & say's i have a system running ? Im always playing with buttons ,Do you think i've done something wrong ?
also i went into task manager & it said Spysweeper Mem usage=11,080k But Adwatch is only half that at 5,412k, is this normal ?
Wow ,Talk about the devil & he arives, spysweeper has just poped up to say new definations available,
It wont let me update untill i subscribe ,
I've just paid for adaware update se thing so i'll have to think about who ealse to buy? I also have a free spybot system,
Wow so many choice's ,
Thank's for any advice.

SpySweeper using that much is normal, mine is at 9750. And my AdAwatch is at about 3750k.
As I said before, if you want to remove it, then, kill it off first in task manager. I have never had any troubles removing SpySweeper.
And if you upgraded from AdAware to AdAwarePlus, then don't bother buying SpySweeper, unless your really wanting to have some extra protection.
Hope that helps ya some. _________________
