Hi,
I'm looking for a utility that can log redirects from IE. Sort of an equivalent to the Firefox Live HTTP Headers extension. The goal is to identify the affiliate code of the scumware party responsible for automatically inserting ad links into my browser. All I can grab is the destination urls (doesn't even show up on url history).
Thanks!

I use the Outpost firewall HTTPlog plugin in verbose mode to log all the information going to and from my browser , and a good packet sniffer like Commview will catch everything it doesnt .
Besides that something like Admuncher [ $$ ] or the Proxomitron will log all the pages going through your browser and you can select what you want to be filtered quite easily.
Also have a look at using a HOSTS file and / or the IE-SPYAD -restricted sites list to block a lot of unwanted ads and assorted malicious internet trash.
And this great page has plenty of other options for webpage/ads filtering :

You could just try right clicking the page and checking the source code for anything suspicious , most of the time you will find something worth blocking.
hope that helps _________________ | Stop Malvertising | Outpost | Blocklist Pro | Hosts | |
