Hi,

I hope I am in the right section, if Not plese redirect.

Just 1 question, Is the download Manager FlashGet a Spyware.

I know is an Adware , my Pest Patrol Corporate, keep telling me itn is a Pest.

Could you guys, help me to straighten the record .

Star Downloader Is an excellent download manager. It's clean, no adware, malware, etc. Works with Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Internet explorer. It also supports AV integration. Can be paused and scheduled. Can automatically re-connect when bumped offline. It has a "download basket" for drag and drop downloading. You can set up as many download categories as you want, and each can have a different destination. I've used it for some time now. It's a gem. They have 2 versions. The freeware version is excellent. Haven't tried the "pro" version. Haven't needed anything better.

The free version of Flashget is ad supported and will install cydoor as far as I know.

On the scale of things I dont think it qualifies as a severe danger to your computer , although the thought of having anything from cydoor installed is a bit worrying. Laughing

I have a older registered version which is completely clean , and Eric Howes also uses it I believe .. Cool
