The website giveawayoftheday.com is down at the moment - it seems they have not renewed their domain name.

This was a useful source of software as they give away different software you normally have to pay for for free every day.

Presumably it will up and running again soon, but if it isn't I see it as no greats loss.

They have a lot of web pages solely designed to increase their presence in search engines, e.g. the following search http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Agiveawayoftheday%2Ecom+porn
brings up 2,490 results! According Give Away of The Day can certainly not be called a trustworthy website. Also their is highly misleading advertising on there suggesting that you download and install Uniblue's Registry Booster before download the daily giveaway. They even say that they have managed to get you a "free scan" for registry errors. This is blatant misleading advertising as Registry Booster always does a free scan for errors, no matter where you download it from.

I wonder how many users they have fooled into buying Registry Booster because the free scan found hundreds of "errors" in their registry. To put it simply nearly all "registry errors" are completely harmless, and it is just fine to never remove them.

The website is working for me now.
But it sounds like they use some very shady SEO tactics.

Giveaway of the Day used to have good offerings from time to time. Now it's mostly dreck.

The site going down and staying down would be the best deal they've had in a while, IMHO.
