HGi, Does anyone know anything about a site spywareremove.com.
McAfee SiteAdvisor Plus flags it as ok while WOT World of Trust flags it as bad.
Thanks

The site itself looks safe and provides some valid information, but the products it recommends may not be the best on the market.
I would stick to the more well known sites and products. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

That's a very kind way of saying it.
They are an affiliate of Enigma and push Spyhunter which is still IMO a rogue product. In addition to be a very poor product, Enigma has had a long history of deceptive and even malicious marketing practices.

Very sound advice. _________________ -

I, umm.., didn't want to attract any unwanted attention if you get my drift. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

Yea, I know and knew exactly what you were trying to avoid.
Believe it or not, that's also the reason my post didn't include all the many links and detailed mention of all the nasty tactics and history.
However, I'm back and ready to do so if those ____ should return. Besides, you know I'm a big mouth and I like to tell as I see it. _________________ -
