I figure I wanted to know to anyone who has used CBL to search for potential Spambot Botnets that normally involve with Common Spam gangs or recently with 419 spammers,

lately CBL has turned up with common names refiered to botnets as,

"festi"(known as festival)
or
"poof"

as common names for their botnets,

I need to know if worms like the SDBot or the Mebroot seem to make these names to try to prevent any search site to result in no identification to the source or what virus is in control of it, I need to know if this maybe a new tatic that maybe catching on as a result of anti-virus companies trying to trace these botnet names to the "Real" worm that is causing it?

That's an interesting question. Are you involved with Shadowserver? They track botnets and malware.
