since last night, a whole slew of fake accounts are being created, all claiming cam pictures and leading to fast flux websites. No, I wont go to those sites. If any researchers on MYspace getting them, please report findings back, thanks. (the new accounts, their myspace pages have fancy red graphic border, different from default, so methinks that would be a clue to who is doing it, perhaps?

I'm not even going to comment on this, seeing as this is what, the third or fourth attack in the last month? (Tila Tequila, and Justin Timberlake getting hacked.)

There are many attacks, of course. This one would almost be the regular make fake profiles and spam the hell out of everyone, except that the spam sites are fast flux which is something to note. First time I seen fast flux used in comb with Myspace.

We need some kind of a new captcha since the captcha technology doesnt work worth a darn.

"Social Networking" - just say No.

As in real life, if you mix with loads of people, you'll sometimes catch nasty diseases from them. Just be sensible and use your brain when going near these sites and you'll be a lot less likely to get caught out.

Unfortunately, common sense and brainpower are definitely in short supply these days...

Sometimes, it is needed. I was asked to have a presence on there due to a project I am involved with.

as with having regular email, simple caution and common sense is always good. That way, you can also laugh at the pathetic attempts and take note of them as well....
