[FOR CATEGORY "A" WINNER ONLY]
ATTN: LOTTERY WINNER.
We wish to congratulate you of the result of the STAAT Lottery.NL
(international program) balloting sweepstake held on the 15th August 2007.
This is a millennium scientific computergame in which email addresses were
used. It is a promotional program aimed at encouraging internet
users,therefore you do not need to buy ticket to enter for it. You have been
approved for the star prize of 1,000, 000.00 (One Million Euros).

Once again congratulations from members of staff of STAAT.NL Lottery.
To claim your winning prize you are to contact the appointed agent as soon
as possible for the immediate release of your winnings:
You must contact the PAYING BANK with your Full Names, Contact Telephone
Numbers (Home, Office and Mobile Number and also Fax Number)and also with
your winning informations via email to process the immediate payment of your
prize.The Validity period of the winnings is for 30 working days hence you
are expected to make your claims immediately, any claim not made before this
date will be returned to the STAAT Lottery board.
Contact the paying bank with the following:
Bank's Name:LAAGSTEHYPOTHEEKOFFERTE. BANK
Contact person: Mr Jim Benson
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
E-mail:adminlagaastebanknl@gawab.com
E-mail: Laagstebnk05@aim.com
Tel: +31-634-066-103
Fax: +31847-235-420. |
Perhaps some explanations for the Dutch challenged :
laagste => lowest
hypotheek => m0rtgage
staat => state
So the paying bank would translate to "lowest-mortgage-offer" bank, which of course sounds a bit spammy I'm also a bit puzzled over the following statement:

This is cut and paste nonsense beyond any logical reasoning and should ideally raise a red flag to those cherishing the illusion it might be true.
A Google search on one of the telephone numbers will reveal, that this scam has been going on for quite a while:
http://www.google.com/search?q=Tel:+%2B31-634-066-103
Just the dropboxes are renewed each time they got cratered by the mail provider du jour.

Suzi, if it were real money I'd be more than happy to spend it for Spywarewarrior moving to a fully managed dedicated server and hosting it in a reputable whitehat data centre. But unfortunately it's only valid money on planet 419 and not here on Earth, so this has to remain a dream
