Well ...... I know of a forum which employs spies.

I kid you not, although that may have been a bit strong. There is a rule there that you may not smear a Moderator's reputation either there or anywhere else on the Internet. Some of the members will sign up at other forums to "spy out the land".

So .... supposing I'm a member there (let's call it Forum A) and then I go to Forum B and complain about one of the mods there, and a member sees it, chances are I'll get a warning or even banned from Forum A.

Seriously, some people really do need to get a life! For crying out loud, it's an Internet forum!!!!! When you click away from it or turn your computer off, you turn these people off with it!!!

I was a member long ago of a form where the "head mod" started pulling cr*p like that. I didn't have anything bad to say...until that practice started up.

I am on that forum I referred to, albeit under a different screen name, but for different reasons I don't go there a great deal these days.
