|
|
Mr Lowes has proposed a series of questions to serve as an FAQ for users on the topic of HIPS.
This is a rough first attempt [url=http://wiki.castlecops.com/HIPS_FAQ] on Castlecops wiki [url/] to answer the questions he has put up.
Please help by commenting either in this thread or editing in the wiki (either main article or talk page). If you think my answer totally sucks, you are welcome to propose completely new answers as well here.
Regards. |

I read through it quickly -- it looks like a great start! _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

| is the pulling down of the program/services page just temporary? I thought that was very useful. |

Problem on your side. It works fine for me.
Is that the only castlecops page you can't get? Or is the whole site not accessiable? |

If it's the whole site this might be the problem.

Greetings folks, please be aware that CastleCops is changing its IP space from the 209.213.221.x network to the new 66.227.46.x. The 4th octet should remain the same. The whole of CastleCops will be making the physical move Saturday, most likely at night on Eastern time. Expect a 3-4 hour outage, however, realistically we're targetting 1.5 hours. All our sites and services will be entirely unavailable for a short bit Saturday night. |

| Okay, at the time I was trying to access it, the whole site was fine except that page. I'm using firefox 2.0 beta. I just tried opening it in IE and much to my surprise there it is. So it is on my side using Firefox and just that page. hmmm |
