Since I've retired my old Dell Pentium III 700 I've built me a new PC which has no problems running the necessary apps.
But I am pretty much running the same items discussed/recommended here that I was previously running on my Dell.
Hardware I am running the following:
Thermaltake Xaser III Super Tower w/side window, 7 fans and red cathode lights.
Antec 500 watt power supply.
MSI K8N Motherboard 64/X2/FX/SLI Capable
AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 2.21 Processor
Dual Nvidia Gforce 7800 GT Video Cards on SLI
4 Gb of Crucial Ram (Even though Windows XP only recognizes 3 Gb)
Dual Western Digital 160 Gb Harddrives on SATA Raid
Dual Sony DVD/CD R/RW Drives
One floppy
Software I am running the following:
Windows XP (Getting ready to upgrade to Windows 64 Bit)
Zone Alarm Security Suite
Microsoft Antispyware
Spybot/Teatimer
Pest Patrol
Adaware
Xoftspy
Spyware Blaster
And now Spycop
It's nice to have a new PC you can run the apps you want without worrying about system resources.
Again, thanks for all your help. Haven't had a major problem with spyware since finding this forum.
Kudo's to all you guys here.
Thanks.
