I was reading this in the current Spyware Weekly newsletter and found it interesting. The router that Comcast provides may let them into and control parts of your home network....

Comcast..........don't get me started! So far I haven't had to deal with exceeding their bandwidth limit and I haven't had to use their transition wizard. I own my own router, as well.

They are, in my opinion, the worse cable service I have ever had to deal with. Unfortunately, out here in the sticks, they're the only ISP service available. There isn't even local dial-up numbers here for any other service.

Thanks for the heads up, Nick! I'll remember never to buy a router from them if mine stops working.

Hello Nick,

Well, now you have me thinking again. ComCast is the only cable in my area, the cable ISP I mentioned before. Grrr. . .

With our Lord's blessings,

Doug
