Just read Mike Healens newsletter and I agree with his ideas.
Though I would go one step further and ban bundled d/loads.
I cannot see any reason why bundled software is wanted, you don't decided to d/l numerous programmes at once, one normally sees one they like and that's it.
I can't see many people d/l advertising software, though there is the odd one that will.
another thought, it cannot be beyond the capabilities for the goverment to draft a Eula that can be used by every programme?
Can IT?

Here here , I triple the motion
After reading mike's newsletter I have changed my mind about government intervention, (cause politicians tends to mangle things badly)......but if they where to follow Mike Healens advise and not stray left or right of it I think it could work.
Wonder if the beauracrates would get the message if everyone forwarded that news letter by snail mail and e-mail to their MP's, Congress person's ecteria, all around the world?
