AIM 5.5 Adds WeatherBug
[April 19, 2004] AOL's text chat application is fitted with weather content as
part of a plan to expand the use of instant messaging.

It has obnoxious ads in it and a nag that will keep asking you about stuff so it can serve you with targetted ads. As of yet, it has no outright spyware in it, but it does add itself to your system startup which I hate.
