about a month ago i had a nasty fight with a downloader trojan...i got it all cleared up thanks to you guys and it hasnt been a problem until today...i went onto a site looking for guitar tabs and i got slammed....i had over 700 objects in my ad aware scan alone. i ran hjt and here is the log....i hope you can help again.

Put it in your system32 folder. We'll use it later.

Because XP will not always show you hidden files and folders by default.
Reset your search settings first.

Open Folder Options>view and check your settings:
Select
Show hidden files and folders
Display the contents of system folders
Uncheck: Hide protected operating system files
Next go to Search and scrolldown using the scroll bar on the right. Go down to More advanced options and click.
Be sure the first three boxes are selected:
Search System folders
Search Hidden Files and folders
Search SubFolders

Download FindQoologic-Narrator.zip save it to your Desktop.

Extract (unzip) the files inside into their own folder called FindQoologic.

Download RKFiles.zip

http://skads.org/special/rkfiles.zip

Create a new folder c:\Antispyware\RKFiles
Extract the contents of RKFiles.zip into the new folder you just created.

Restart to safe mode.

Open the C:\Antispyware\RKFiles folder
Double click on RKFILES.BAT

Give it time to run. this may take a while.
Save the text file it creates.
It should save by default to C:\Log.txt

Open the FindQoologic folder. Preferable to your desktop.
Locate and double-click the Find-Qoologic.bat file to run it.
wait until a text file opens, post the contents of that file in your next reply.

Restart into regular Windows mode and post the contents of C:\log.txt as well.

Run hijackthis and post the new log too. After restarting there may have been some changes made.

Yes, this is a complicated infection now. Please follow my instructions to the letter. If not, you are never going to clean up.
