Spyware Warrior

There are four users on this machine and this spam comes with our first and last names!!! The spam itself is very upsetting in it's nature. Complaints to Road Runner just get us "form" letters. I even pasted a typical one in the complaint and they didn't like it very much. Sheeesh.... you'd think that they would want to help.
I have downloaded a filter with several plug-ins and have been training it for a while. Most of it goes right to the recycle bin,now.

How could such a thing happen? Is it one of those encryption things? I know I opened the first few and they were horrendous.
I am clean for viruses and trojans and spyware. I have no explanation.Any comments would be welcomed.

Often sites or other things that you have signed up for will pass your details on to other sources. This is one of the ways that they are able to send you spam. Often this can be prevented by reading small print and seeing whether or not there is a box to tick if you do not wish your details to be passed on
