Warm Greetings Warriors,
I'm Robert, I've been playing around with windows around 7 years n I've had an iBook G3 800 Mhz about a year to use, and got a new eMac 1.25 Ghz about 6 months ago. I decided since most of the world is still using windows and I don't seem to have much choice that I'd get an HP pavillian A700N machine. It has the AMD XP 3000. I like it a lot. And I spend tons of time on this eMac learning how to keep my XP (home edition w/sp2) clean and running like a top. So far I've only used IE on the pavillian for about five minutes on the net. Even behind a D-Link router I have 5 pieces (for lack of a better term) of spyware/malware that Search n Destroy keeps fixing but they won't go away. I'll find the right place to post about that problem in greater deatail. That's what originally brought me here. The oportunity for more education perked up my attention quick. Going to school full time is not an option for me at this point.
I'm the kind of dude who thinks knowledge is best kept when I give it away. An old saying "ya got ta give it away to keep it" is one principle I try to live by among others. Letting me train to be on your crew would make me really happy. Obviously I came here for help, but it's been my experience that everything I learn sticks better when I share it. Give me a chance to walk my talk so to speak. I'm guessing you know I'll be stoked if ya let me in yer boot camp. I spend an average of 10 hours a day on computers n the net. I'm disabled and will need to be making a lot of money before I can become self supporting again. That is my main goal. (costly health insurance, child support, and a living will be a lot.) Feel free to send me some hoops to jump on through.
Working with computers is my favorite thing to do. I also like to eat and sleep ) Sometimes I tend to ramble but I' working on that
Thanks
Robert.

I moved this out of Announcements.
Robo799,
I just got back from vacation, but since I sort-of head up the 'training' here, please PM me if you are seriously interested and I will see what we can do together
