I gave a try to the Tenebril software to compare it against SpySweeper, Spyware Eliminator and Pest Patrol. I scanned my computer and it was clean.
I tried to remove it after the scan, but i can not get rid of some locked files. Is it possible to wipe out them??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
Thanks a lot,
Richard

Hi Pifcan, and Welcome to Spyware Warrior forums.

Maye you could try deleting them in 'Safe Mode'.

Maybe that will do the trick.

Hope that works, keep us informed.

If the files are locked, it means they are running in memory, you could use a process viewer that allows killing a process. Easier, and perhaps forgotten is deleating them in REAL dos mode. Not sure if the newer windows will let you boot stright to dos, My windows 98se lets you. If your version wont let you boot into REAL Dos, you can use a boot floppy with the dos boot files, and a copy of list.
if you are not well versed in dos, the process killer is easier. getting around in dos, for the person who has only used windows can be daunting. For moving through dirs in dos, a program named LIST is very easy to do, you can find it on the web.
Go here to get it, it is shareware, but you can use the non enhanced version pretty much forever.

For Dos, this is my favorite program for getting around. It can do file delete, rename, copy, and move among other things.
