I have these converters all under the name WinAVI. One is a Video converter, and the other is a MP4 converter. All has been good up until now, for I have been experiencing problems with one of them. My WinAVI Video converter does not open. When I click it, and it starts to load, it says two things:

"Floating point division by zero."

and

"Access violation at address 00C46B5E in module 'Major.dll'. Read of address 00000008."

And then, you would have to close it by pressing the "x" on top and quickly hit close on the toolbar, as that message pops up again and again and again. And of course, because of that, it does not open.

I don't know what the problem is and I need some help. Could someone please help me?

Personally, I would first try running the installer again and reinstall(overwrite) or repair (whichever the installer calls for).

If that doesn't fix, I'd look to a possible upgrade. Failing that, I would contact the dev for support of the product; http://www.winavi.com/en/products.htm
