Another proof that spammers aren't the brightest bulbs in our universe: A campaign for an University Degree isn't very convincing with a catastrophic grammar, punctuation and spelling. This way it's too obvious that there's something wrong, even for a technically challenged computer user (hopefully!).

A Giggle search on (270) 818-7244 university reveals that this campaign has been running for a couple of months now. Note that a lot of Open Source mailing lists were targeted, probably aiming at self taught programmers. So one has the impression, that only people with a particular profile were recipients of that spam.

There seems to be quite a few spams coming in which list a 270 area code for phone numbers.
ok, I thought it was one of those 800 redirects to charge 100 bucks a minute, but i looks like Kentucky.
but still a tad strange getting a bit of spam with 270 for the code....
