Seeing that Mr Howes thread got derailed by topics that had nothing to do with the original intent, I am creating this thread in the hopes that those who must vent on this topic can and will do so here, as well as providing a place for mods to move this discussion to if they think fit.

Don't get me wrong, please: I am all for a wide-ranging discussion on most things, but in the case of Mr Howes theread (along with a few others) it might have been more helpful to not go so far afield.

Frankly, I think its been discussed enough, at least for my own interests, and it clear to me that the discussions so far have all met with impasse after impasse, but for those who must still persist, perhaps there will be a breakthrough.
