------------------ Updates to EBURGER ------------------ What follows below is a list of changes made to EBURGER since the original version was released in January of 2001. ~~~~~~~ 5-24-02 ~~~~~~~ On April 14, 2002, EBURGER was updated for a third time. The following changes were made: -- A minor adjustment was made to the "VIEW Current BHO's" function for Windows 2000 based on a suggestion from an EBURGER user. ~~~~~~~ 4-14-02 ~~~~~~~ On April 14, 2002, EBURGER was updated for a third time. The following changes were made: -- CHOICE.EXE (from the Windows 2000 Professional Resource Kit) was added to EBURGER for Windows NT/2000/XP systems. CHOICE.EXE will be installed (instead of the older CHOICE.COM from Windows 95B) if Windows NT/2000/XP is detected. -- Most Registry configuration files were moved to sub-directories to reduce clutter in the top-level EBURGER installation directory. ~~~~~~~ 4-28-01 ~~~~~~~ On April 28, 2001, EBURGER was updated again. The following changes were made: -- EBURGER no longer "cripples" (by renaming) the following files: DISPEX.DLL JSCRIPT.DLL SCROBJ.DLL VBSCRIPT.DLL These files are used by Internet Explorer. This behavior can be changed by editing EBURGER.BAT. See the "WS (Windows Script) Options" section for more details. -- If Windows Script 5.6 has been installed on Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000, EBURGER will now "cripple"/"uncripple" WSHCON.DLL (which WS 5.6 installs on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000). -- EBURGER no longer "resets" Internet Explorer scripting settings for any of the "un-do" Windows Script options. This behavior can be changed by editing EBURGER.BAT. See the "WS (Windows Script) Options" section for more details. ~~~~~~~ 4-21-01 ~~~~~~~ On April 21, 2001, EBURGER was updated again.
